Responsibilities and Duties:
Reports to the General Manager, responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and management of government facilities contract. With full authority to act for Aleut, this individual has responsibility for the overall effective management and allocation of personnel and resources necessary to meet contract requirements. The project Manager is responsible for making profits for the company through efficient and effective performance on the project.
Responsible for direct communications with the  Contracting Officer, COR and client leadership to ensure timely identification of  leadership concerns, providing feedback of contractor concerns to the  leadership and identifying upcoming major events that may influence the contract performance.  Performs base operations maintenance, repairs, services and perform alterations to real property facilities on client site.
  • Responsible for the overall management and performance of the contract
  • Single point of contact with the Government for all contract issues
  • Establishes policies consistent with installation and corporate objectives; Implements client Installation and corporate policies and procedures
  • Establishment, communication and training of effective management system controls appropriate to activities throughout all functional areas of the contract
  • Delegates management autonomy to the  Deputy Project  Manager for meeting the client' s quality needs, conformance to requirements, and continuous improvement of the quality process
  • Establishes short-and long-range objectives for the project
  • Reviews, interprets, and approves requests for payment prior to submission to the Government
  • Implements the Management Plan
  • Ensures good stewardship of all facilities, equipment and environmental resources associated with the contract
  • Regularly interfaces with the customer to ensure complete understanding of requirements and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for the financial performance of the contract as well as complete contract compliance.

  • Provide staff members with all of the necessary information in order to provide the service required for the customer
  • Coordinate with Corporate in preparing budgets and forecasts, maintain and manage all financial requirements of the contract

  • Perform all other duties as required
  • Must possess the ability to read, write, and understand business English
  • Ability to reason and solve problems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software applications preferred
  • Must also have operating knowledge of the following office equipment: computer, calculator, telephone, cell phone, pager, fax machine, and other office machine/equipmentPhysical Demands:
  • General office and field demands associated with project assessments
  • Must be able to climb ladders and move around equipment and various sites to perform project assessments with contractors for bid solicitations and quality inspections
  • Must be able to travel as required
  • Must have ability to maintain assigned work hours and have sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of time

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor degree or five or more years of project/program management experience.  (Trade school or related technical degree including prior military background associated with Project Manager.  5 or more years of experience may substitute education requirements.)
  • Experience: Five - 7  years in the management of a similar project related to military or government base operations maintenance; facilities management; department of public works on a military installation;  or a related field
  • Must have a good management and leadership background in either Federal Services Support contracts and/or public/private work infrastructure with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Supervisor and leadership experience.
  • Government Contracting experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a National Agency Clearance
